Julie Schilz is the manager of the Improving Performance in Practice (IPIP) Program and Patient Centered Medical Home programs for Beacon Learning Consortium.  She received her formal clinical training as a registered nurse at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Her business degree is from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
Schilz’s experience collaborating with health care organizations and industry stakeholders drives her expertise in care management, quality office system redesign programs, quality reimbursement programs such as pay-for-performance and critical knowledge of patient centered medical homes. She also serves on the Colorado Medicaid Medical Home Steering Committee and Provider Task Force.
