CMS Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative

1.  Welcome and Introductions - Robert Dribbon, co-chair, Center for Employer Engagement

2.  Overview of Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative 

Staff of the CMS Innovation Center (CMMI), Andy Shin and Christa Shively, will present an overview of this new initiative and answer questions about the application process. They will explain the process for filing non-binding Letters of Intent and Geographic Service Area Worksheet which are due on November 15, 2011. You can download a copy of their presentation here:

3.  Engaging Stakeholders 

Following the presentation by CMS Innovation Center staff, joining us on the call will be Dr Raymond Zastrow, Chief Medical Officer, QuadMed; Dr Peter Bowers, Medical Director, Wellpoint; and Jason Buxbaum, Policy Analyist, National Association for State Health Policy. These individuals will share their perspectives on this initiative.  

4.  Discussion 

Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions following the presentation.
